those cars are becoming increasingly cheaper, hell if you look around enough you can find a 993 turbo for mid-high $50,000 range. Still a lot of money, but not much for a 6 or 7 year old Porsche turbo. The naturally aspirated S cars get the widebody and all the goodies, but without the turbo motor.....a pretty good compromise if you can't swing the cash for the turbo and still a GREAT sports car for the money.
